typhoone. · 2y. I may be wrong but my understanding is that the sensors are just sensors for the surrounding temp. If you set nest to keep the temp conditions to a certain setting it will keep them in reference to that thermostat sensor, but you can''t change a setting for just that sensor. All it does is report that temp to the nest.
