Apr 18, 2019· The first Photon, referenced as DHT11 Sensor in the wiring diagram and code attachment, was responsible for recording the temperature/humidity and then publish this data to the internet. The photon was set to record the temperature every 15 seconds. To test the sensor, we placed the photon inside and allowed it to record and publish data.
Take an I2C shield for particle photon and gently push it over the pins of particle photon. Then connect the one end of I2C cable to HDC1000 sensor and the other end to the I2C shield. Connections are shown in the picture above.
The project comprises a DHT11 as a temperature and humidity sensor, an OLED Display and a powerful Particle Photon as a fullyintegrated IoT kit. The DHT11 is a digital sensor that provides the output data in a binary form. The Particle Photon has a powerful STM32 ARM Cortex M3 microcontroller as its brain and a Broadcom BCM43362 WiFi chip as its
Plug the HDC1000 into a Particle Photon or Particle Electron to monitor temperature and humidity from anywhere in the world. All I2C Mini Modules are designed to operate at 5VDC. Using a convenient 4Pin plug, devices can be daisychained onto the I2C Bus, eliminating the need for soldering.

May 22, 2019· I2C can be daunting and confusing when trying to “bitbang” the bus (, use custom code to control the data and clock wires), but, fortunately, most microcontroller platforms have both inbuilt I2C controllers and I2C libraries. To keep things simple, we will look at how to get the Particle Photon to access an I2C serial memory chip.
