Wound up not mattering since the old gcode also doesn''t work. Checked that the fans work. They do, but I can''t detect if maybe the heatbrake fan isn''t pushing as much air as it should and causing a clog. Tried increasing extruder print temperature from 240 to 250 and then to 260. Tried slowing the print speed down to 80% with and without increasing the hotend temperature. …

The MMU can push filament through the tube until it trips in the bondtech gear assembly. The purpose of the chimney is to transfer motion from the bondtech feed gears up to the IR sensor. If you don''t get all the bits aligned just right it doesn''t work but once it''s properly assembled, it''s da bomb.

Filament Sensor not detecting Runout – Hardware, firmware and …

+

05/02/2020· The IR sending was reading 1. I cut the filament about an inch from the print head to test to sensor state. When the filament ran out the IR sensor switched from 1 to 0 but the printer kept printing without a filament. – even though sensor was reading 0. It completed the 10 mins cycle as if there was a filament in it.

+

14/06/2015· Yes, I have a sensor that uses 2 infrared beams to detect height above a glass surface. See []. It''s designed for the Ormerod, but some people are using them on other printers including Prusa i3 and delta. I am about to build a fresh batch. More details in the Ormerod forum. It works I added a 4mm Messing tube for the rotation axis ( where the long screw M3x40 is the Axle) in the Extruder I bent the long Arm a bit toward the IR sensor so it showed IRSensor =1; but this is a difficult task Not too much bending!3. Is the Distance from the Ball Sensor to the filament sensor critical for the ...

What is wrong with the IR sensor on the MK3S that it needs to be ...

+

It needs to move into the “chimney” so the printer can detect when the filament hits the bond tech gears. In the previous position the IR sensor is triggered above the gears. You need to calibrate the position of your IR sensor by moving the “chimney” as covered in the mmu2s guide

My Infrared Sensor can''t detect black colour, how to solve this ...

+

06/05/2021· Black color block all the light so it doesn''t come back to receiver after reaching your cable. As I know, the only (but not cheap) way to read black correctly is to use a laser or maybe an IR barrier (it depends on how this cable travel in the factory). Unfortunately after some testing also reflex sensor with background suppression has problem ...

Black or white. The infrared sensor. | DIWO

+

27/10/2015· As you will see, the program is very simple. If the IR sensor detects black, or 0, the buzzer will sound until white or 1 is detected. This means that we can control the door and make sure that it´s always closed so that the heat doesn´t escape. The green block is a comment. Comments are messages used within programs to make them easier to understand. They are …
